Community Fundraiser Meal for Cami Lamb & Family


Tyler Schmidt has been a middle school educator for the last 14 years, spending equal time in the Grain Valley and Independence School District. He has taught 8th-grade science and 6-8 theater. Mr. Schmidt also had an opportunity to coach middle school basketball and soccer as well as high school boys'/girls' soccer during his Grain Valley tenure. In Grain Valley, he served as the Middle/High School Director of Summer School last summer and will again this summer.
Mr. Schmidt received his Bachelor of Science in Middle School Education with a concentration in 5-9 Science and 5-9 Speech/Theater from Northwest Missouri State. He immediately continued his education to get his Master's in Science in Education Leadership at the Secondary level and graduated in 2010. His ability to connect with people and lead by example with positive energy is one of Tyler's strong suits.
Mr. Schmidt is the husband of Courtney Schmidt, a Middle School Special Education teacher in Grain Valley. They have three kids: Eleanor, 8, Patrick, 5, and Jett, 2.
Tyler is ready to get into Lexington, meet the great people of the town, and begin connecting with staff. “The town’s rich tradition and pride will be the foundation we stand on with a glorious future ahead, we will come together as a school community. Greatness cannot be accomplished alone, and we will look to garner a collective strength from all stakeholders. Let’s get after it"


The Lexington R-V School District is excited to share that the Board of Education has selected Tiffany Daly as the new Assistant Principal of Lexington High School for the 2025-26 school year. Mrs. Daly has been a dedicated educator within the Lexington R-V School District for the past eight years, serving in various roles, including 5th-grade teacher, High School Science teacher, and Curriculum Coordinator and Instructional Coach. She holds the following graduate degrees: a Master of Arts in Education focusing on Learning and Technology, and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. Her dedication to her profession is evident in her leadership and commitment to excellence in education.
Mrs. Daly is the wife of Patrick, a Quality Assurance Specialist at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, and the very proud parent of their three children, Emma, Ella, and Alexander. She is honored to have the opportunity to lead alongside a great staff at a school full of rich traditions that strive for excellence in education. She is enthusiastic about continuing to grow in her career in a great community where she can share her knowledge and empower our students to seek their full potential.
Mrs. Daly will officially assume her new role on July 1, 2025.

The Lexington R-V School district is excited to share that the Board of Education has selected Sara Green as the new Principal of Leslie Bell Elementary School for the 2025-26 school year. Mrs. Green has been a dedicated educator within the Fort Osage R-1 School District for the past 21 years, serving in various roles, including Music teacher, Reading tutoring coordinator, and school club coordinator. She has the following graduate degrees: Master of Arts - Education and Education Specialist - School Leadership K-12. Her dedication to her profession is evident in her leadership and commitment to excellence in education.
Mrs. Green is the wife of Joshua, who is a network engineer and the very proud parent of two teenagers. She is honored to have the opportunity to lead alongside a great staff at a school full of rich traditions that strive for excellence in education. She is enthusiastic about joining a great community where we can share our knowledge and empower our students to seek their full potential.
Mrs. Green will officially assume her new role on July 1, 2025.
