Mr. Beam’s 8th graders worked with Ms. Hunsaker on identifying dreams, goals, and habits in preparation for their 2nd semester of 8th grade and moving up to LHS. Students thought about their future, and worked to develop a set of goals and habits that align with their big dream(s). Ms. Hunsaker encouraged them to; start sharing their dreams proudly, seek and accept advice and guidance, and find others that can assist them in being accountable for their habits as the get ready for the next big chapter of their lives.
If you know an LMS 8th grader, ask them what their dreams and goals are! They are prepared to answer.
During 2nd Semester at LMS, the 7th and 8th graders will work with Ms. Hunsaker to develop their Individual Career and Academic Plans (ICAPs), which can be used as their road map for deciding what courses to take in high school.
The end of the year is about 6 months away, and we are so excited to see what the future holds for our amazing Minutemen!
