Lexington R-V Summer School students were treated to the Central Missouri Repertory Theatre Children’s Touring Production of ‘The Lost Musketeer’ at The LEX. We wish to thank The Lexington Auditorium Association for sponsoring the production and The Lexington Arts Council - ISAAC and The GFWC Woman’s Club of Lexington for jointly sponsoring transportation. “The Lost Musketeer” was a very interactive, engaging show enjoyed by all in the beauty of the historic auditorium.

Each week, LMS recognizes a student from each grade level that #AnswerTheCall like a Minuteman! See the images of the students who were recognized by their teachers during lunch for being great contributors to our Lexington Middle School Community! Daily efforts may go unnoticed, but not at LMS! Just like the cannonball in the Lafayette County Courthouse, we remember the moments that #MakeAnImpact . If you recognize one of the students pictured, please reach out to their parents/guardians and congratulate them on this recognition!

This week’s staff recognition post goes to Miss Libbi, our administrative assistant! She strives to #MakeAnImpact by interacting with kids and parents via all of the mediums possible for communication! Miss Libbi is always helping people feel appreciated and wanted within the walls of LMS. She has been a huge driver in the teacher appreciation efforts this week, which without her efforts wouldn’t be at the level we saw this year. Miss Libbi knows: we wouldn’t be who we are without the presence and efforts of our teachers. As the 2025-26 School year continues, please reach out to Mr. Schmidt (tschmidt@lexr5.org) and let us know the great things that our staff is doing! We want to recognize the staff members for their hard work and dedication. Leave some positive comments for Miss Libbi below as well! #PoundTheStone #AnswerTheCall #MakeAnImpact
