This week’s staff recognition post goes to Ms. Conner, our 5/6 Math teacher! She strives to #MakeAnImpact by helping kids through difficult math problems and a sounding board in their life! Ms. Conner is always willing to help the building out in any capacity, even volunteering to sub during her plan time to help protect other teammate’s time. This week she was able to implement methods learned from a recent PD opportunity and the difference can be seen/felt in the classroom. Ms. Conner is dedicated to perfecting her craft and delivering her students the best experience possible!
As the 2025-26 School year continues, please reach out to Mr. Schmidt (tschmidt@lexr5.org) and let us know the great things that our staff is doing! We want to recognize the staff members for their hard work and dedication. Leave some positive comments for Ms. Conner below as well!

This week’s staff recognition post goes to Coach Brooks, our Lexington Middle/High ISS teacher at LMS! He strives to #MakeAnImpact by helping kids through difficult times in their life! Coach Brooks is always willing to help the building out in any capacity. In recent weeks he has been able to assist administrators in protecting teacher’s plan times by subbing for absent teachers. This opportunity has only presented itself due to students being so well behaved this school year! Coach Brooks is the perfect mentor for our students and our student athletes as he is currently coaching our Middle School Boys basketball team.

This week’s staff recognition post goes to Mrs. Worthington, our FACS teacher at LMS! She strives to #MakeAnImpact on our kids day in all walks of our school day! Mrs. Worthington is always holding students to high standards and giving students life experiences that are applicable to their teenage lives. She has also partnered with students to focus on their attendance through individual attention and incentives. Mrs. Worthington’s approach to having high expectations for students shows that if we believe the kids can meet a certain standard, no matter the height, they can meet those marks!
